The Mongoose is a lightweight, low-recoil pistol-caliber carbine designed for competition, home defense, and plinking. Key specs include a 5.8" steel barrel with 1:10 twist, threaded 1/2 x 28 with QPQ nitriding, and a 13.67" overall length (23.38" with the extended brace). It uses Nemo extruded aluminum upper and billet lower receivers, a 10.25" top Picatinny rail with multiple M-LOK slots, and SB Tactical FS1913 brace. Features include an ALG ACT trigger, non-reciprocating forward charging handle, ambidextrous safety, a MAGPUL MOE SL grip, and a MAGPUL PMAG 35 EV9 35-round magazine. Includes ambi bolt catch/release and ambi magazine release for AR-style disassembly.
