DOUGLAS UNTURNED BLANK
Famous, Douglas Double XX, premium-grade barrels are an excellent choice for any rebarrelling project. Button rifled for unequalled smoothness with tolerances for groove diameter and straightness held to .0005". Caliber options include various diameters: .264 through .338 barrels with 6 grooves; the .358, .375 and .458 barrels have 8 grooves. Not straightened, stress-relieved.
SPECS: 4140 Chrome moly and stainless steel. Finished dimensions are shown in the chart. Unturned Blanks will be .025" (.63 mm) to .050" (1.3 mm) larger in diameter and about 1-1/2" (3.8 cm) longer than shown. Not threaded or chambered.
Ordering: Provide 1) complete Stock number from the chart; 2) Caliber; 3) Twist; 4) Contour. If no Stock number is shown in the chart, this barrel must be ordered on a Special Order basis. Special Orders require Full payment in Advance and are non-cancelable and non-refundable. Not shipped prepaid.
