The Faxon Firearms Duty Series pistol barrel for the Glock 19 (G19) is machined 100% in-house from stress-relieved 4150 CMV steel and finished with a black nitride (salt bath nitride) treatment to improve lubricity, corrosion resistance, and service life. Designed as a true drop-in upgrade for factory-spec slides, it requires no gunsmithing and is built to deliver better-than-factory tolerances for a consistent, tighter lockup than original equipment manufacturer (OEM) barrels. Conventional rifling allows the use of a broad range of ammunition, including cast lead.
