The Faxon Firearms Type 1 7.62x39mm bolt assembly is built for hard use with a durable 9310 tool steel bolt and a QPQ salt bath nitride finish for increased hardness and corrosion resistance. MPI tested and MIL-SPEC heat treatment with shot peening to help ensure strength and long service life. Includes extractor spring, insert, and Crane O-ring for reliability.
