The Faxon Superfinished 7.62x39 Type 1 Bolt Carrier Group (Nitride) is built to deliver smooth, dependable cycling in AR-15 rifles chambered in 7.62x39. It features a .125 Type 1 bolt face and a 9310 tool steel bolt that is magnetic particle inspected (MPI), heat treated, and shot peened to MIL-SPEC standards. A salt bath nitride finish on the bolt and carrier increases surface hardness, reduces friction, and improves corrosion resistance, while Faxon's Superfinish helps reduce fouling for easier cleaning and consistent operation. This is an M16-pattern carrier that is full-auto compatible and includes forward assist serrations.
