Overview

The Magpul B.A.D. (Battery Assist Device) Lever attaches to the AR15/M16 bolt release to speed up bolt catch manipulation.

Key Features

• Extends a paddle to the right side of the firearm for faster bolt stop/bolt release access from the firing grip
• Allows traditional AR15/M4 bolt catch manipulation according to standard manual of arms
• Designed for both left- and right-handed shooters
• Attaches to the existing bolt catch paddle via one screw, without permanent modification
• All mounting hardware included

Compatibility

• Platform: AR15 / M4
• Not compatible with 7.62x51 (.308 Winchester) firearms and most non-standard/billet or polymer receivers due to non-standard dimensions

Construction

• Machined from billet 6061-T6 aluminum
• Finished with MIL-A-8625F Type III Class 2 hard anodizing (manganese phosphate on the screw per MIL-DTL-16232G)
• Torx mounting screw with Nyloc Blue patch prevents back out under recoil (Torx wrench included)
