Battle Arms Development BAD-VTS Buffer Spring (VERT-OS) enhances reliability in the shortest buffer tubes.
- Allows pushing the hammer operating limit quicker
- Helps slow the rate of fire without adding extra strain on the shooter’s shoulder
- Primary spring selected based on shooter strength and reciprocating mass of the buffer spring (stronger springs have a heavier pound rating and require less maintenance)
- “V” shape retains slide geometry for recoil control and accuracy
- “V” shape does not work as well with some buttstock configurations
