Battle Arms Development VERT Stock System Buffer Spring is designed for the VERT Stock System short buffer tubes. The BAD-VTS Buffer Spring enhances reliability in the shortest buffer tubes without impacting the tuning of the slide. The spring allows the shooter to push the operating limit of the hammer down quicker, and also helps slow the rate of fire without adding extra strain on the shooter's shoulder. The primary spring is selected based on the user's strength and the mass of the buffer. Stronger springs will have heavier pound ratings and require less maintenance. The V-shaped geometry retains the slide's recoil control and accuracy, though the V-shape does not work as well with some buttstock configurations.
