The Springfield Armory LevAR Ratcheting AR-15 charging handle is a patented upgrade for AR-15 upper receivers designed to help clear stuck cartridges without resorting to harsh clearing techniques. When a casing is lodged, deploy the LevAR’s ratcheting arm and pull rearward to extract and eject the stuck cartridge. The LevAR installs in seconds with a tool-free, drop-in fit and operates like a conventional ambidextrous charging handle when the lever is not deployed.
