Overview
POF 00838 “Dictator” is a 9-position adjustable direct-impingement (DI) gas block for .223/5.56 midlength rifles.
Why adjustable with a suppressor
Suppressor use can increase back pressure, which may accelerate wear and introduce additional gas/carbon into the action. The Dictator gas block helps counter this by regulating the rate of fire and controlling gas flow to improve system reliability.
Adjustability
- 9 gas settings to dictate gas pressure and cyclic rate
- Quick adjustment with one of three tools: a flat screwdriver, 3/32" hex wrench, or the Dictator wrench
Design note
- Straight gas tube design to reduce heat buildup at the bent portion of a standard gas tube.
