Gen III Armalite 308 Free Float Forearm. Carbine length is 9.5 inches; rifle length is 12.75 inches. Constructed from carbon fiber, aluminum and high strength steel for light weight and strength. The carbon fiber reduces heat transfer to the shooter’s hand during rapid or high volume firing. The forearm comes with 4 rails: an 8.5 inch top rail and three 3 inch rails at the 3, 6, and 9 o'clock positions. Weight is 18.7 oz. Handguard type: Free-Float. Mount type: Rail.
