New for 2016, the Freedom Rail is a lightweight one-piece AR-15 handguard designed by VLTOR. It is compatible with Mil-Spec AR-15 components and features KeyMod mounting for versatile accessory upgrades. The Freedom Rail is hard coat anodized black per MIL-A-8625 Type III Class 2, constructed from 6061-T6 aluminum extrusion, and includes the required barrel nut and mounting hardware. It offers anti-rotational tabs, no clocking needed to align barrel nut and gas tube, a full-length Picatinny top rail, added clearance for various gas systems, and overall lightweight design. Package contents include the Vltor Freedom Rail with Keymod.
