Sinclair O-Ring Rod Guide 223 Remington 0.695 in Diameter (223 Family)

Our Centerfire Cleaning Rod Guides are designed to insert into your action in place of your bolt or bolt carrier.

They feature a snout with a silicone O-ring that inserts into your chamber, sealing the barrel off from the receiver. The O-ring prevents solvents from leaking back into the action area and gumming up the trigger assembly.

This model is for the 223 family and is machined for specific actions and cartridge families from .17 up to .338 caliber.

Fit / Notes

• Each rod guide is machined to fit specific actions and cartridge families.
• Some rifle chamberings do not lend themselves to an O-ring style rod guide; for these cartridges, Sinclair recommends an Adjustable Cone Style Rod Guide.
• Sinclair upgraded many centerfire bolt action rod guides and nearly all AR style guides to include integral solvent ports.

Special note: FN versions of the Model 70 do not all have .700 bolt diameters and have fixed ejectors; a slot must be milled down the length of the rod guide body. Any Model 70 made after 2010 with FN but not Winchester New Haven Connecticut stamped on the receiver is treated as a custom rod guide and requires checking bolt diameter.
