Product Overview

Sinclair centerfire cleaning rod guides insert into the action in place of your bolt or bolt carrier. They feature a snout with a silicone O-ring that inserts into your chamber, sealing the barrel off from the receiver.

The O-ring helps prevent solvents from leaking back into the action area and gumming up the trigger assembly.

Notes

• Sinclair stocks O-ring rod guides for many action/cartridge combinations.
• Guides are machined to fit specific actions and cartridge families from .17 up to .338 caliber.
• Some chamberings may not work well with an O-ring style rod guide; for those, Sinclair recommends Adjustable Cone Style Rod Guides.
• Sinclair upgraded many centerfire bolt action and nearly all AR style guides to include integral solvent ports.
• If you want a guide without integral solvent ports, it is treated as semi-custom (2–4 weeks). No additional charge.

Special Note (FN Model 70)

FN versions of Model 70 do not all have .700 bolt diameters. They have fixed ejectors, requiring a slot milled down the length of the rod guide body. Any Model 70 made after 2010 that has FN and not Winchester New Haven Connecticut stamped on the receiver is a custom rod guide and you must check the bolt diameter.
