The Enhanced Trigger guard ETG replaces the standard GI trigger guard. The bolt required for installation is longer than the standard GI trigger guard, which allows the guard to be installed forwards or backwards for aesthetics and to avoid snagging on clothing or gear when stowed in the lower. The ETG is installed by tightening the provided roll pin from behind. Due to the increased length, the ETG requires a small hole be drilled in the trigger well, but this does not prevent debris from getting caught in the threads and snagging on the pin.
