Springco extractor spring upgrade kit for M16/M4 style AR-15/M16 platforms.

  • XP 5-coil spring: heavier spring load than OEM springs, designed to help eliminate the need for a D-Fender ring or adding Crane Viton O-rings
  • Enhanced 4-coil springs: maintain an extended-duty-cycle load of a new Mil-Spec spring; recommended for use in 18"+ barrel lengths where you retrieve brass for reloading
  • Chrome silicon wirestock springs: heat treated, stress relieved, and cryogenically processed after winding
  • Plated with re-micronized molybdenum disulfide formulation

Notes from manufacturer guidance:

  • Use the 5-coil spring with either a black extractor spring insert or Crane Viton O-rings, but not both
