Atrius Ambidextrous Forced Reset Selector (FRS) Super Safety

Ambidextrous 3-position forced reset selector with SAFE / SEMI (Traditional) / SUPER-SEMI lever positions. Designed for mil-spec AR-15 fire control groups and marketed as a drop-in replacement for compatible lowers.

Compatibility / fitment (as stated)

• Designed for mil-spec AR-15 (.223 / 5.56 / .300 BLK)
• Not compatible without gunsmithing on AR-10 (LR-308/SR-25) platforms
• Some AR9 and non-standard platforms may require professional gunsmithing
• Works best with lowers that have an FA pocket or low shelf
• Mil-spec triggers without a relief cut (no U-notch)
• Requires an FA style bolt carrier group

Buffer requirements (as stated)

• Minimum H2 buffer (H3 recommended) for carbine-extension firearms with 16" or shorter barrels
• Standard rifle buffer for 20" A2 stocks

Installation & hardware

• Selector screw: T10, 4-40 thread
• Recommended spring: McMaster-Carr 9657K619
• Torque spec: 15 in-lbs; use blue Loctite only

Super-Safety operational note

• Uses a dovetail cam with about 15° tolerance, which may allow limited over-travel before cam disengages (design behavior, not a defect).
