Atrius Ambidextrous Forced Reset Selector (FRS) Super Safety is a complete, drop-in safety for mil-spec AR-15 fire control groups.

Compatibility & Fitment

• Designed for mil-spec AR-15 fire control groups (.223 / 5.56 / .300 BLK)
• Requires an FA style bolt carrier group
• NOT compatible without gunsmithing on AR-10 (LR-308 / SR-25) platforms (future model planned)
• Some AR9 and non-standard platforms may require professional gunsmithing
• Works best with lowers that have an FA pocket or low shelf and mil-spec triggers without a relief cut (trigger rear must be squared—no U-notch)

Buffer Requirements (per listing)

• Minimum H2 buffer (H3 recommended) for carbine extensions with 16" or shorter barrels
• Standard rifle buffer for 20" A2 stocks

Installation & Hardware

• Selector screw: T10, 4-40 thread
• Recommended spring: McMaster-Carr 9657K619
• Torque spec: 15 in-lbs (use blue Loctite only)

Operational Note

• Super-Safety system uses a dovetail cam with about 15° tolerance; limited over-travel may occur before cam disengages from the trigger bar (design behavior).
