- Single-stage trigger with a curved gray trigger bow
- Components are captive in a lightweight aluminum alloy housing
- Hammer is wire-EDM machined from S7 tool steel for hardness and impact resistance
- Other components are EDM cut from A2 tool steel and heat treated to Rc 56–60 for long service life
