The Faxon Match Series 16" Gunner .223 Wylde complete upper combines government-strength durability with pencil-like weight savings for a fast, well-balanced rifle. Chambered in .223 Wylde, it delivers match-grade precision with .223 Rem while safely accommodating 5.56 NATO pressures—suitable for training, competition, and duty use.
Starting with 416R stainless steel and 5R rifling (button-rifled 1:8 twist), the bore is salt bath nitrided inside and out for corrosion resistance and easy cleaning. This complete upper is assembled around a Faxon Match Series Gunner-profile barrel with a purpose-built upper receiver and modified feed ramps, delivering a clean, repeatable setup suitable for suppressed configurations.
