New for 2016, the VLTOR VIS Fusion upper is a polylithic one-piece forend design. The lower handguard portion of the forend is not removable. The upper features a one-piece forend with an access panel towards the rear to allow accessibility to the barrel nut for installation and maintenance. The VIS Fusion provides strength and reliability with VLTOR VIS uppers while reducing weight. Hard coat anodized, MIL-A-8625 Type III Class 2. 6013 forged upper with 6061 extruded handguard, hardened to T6 specifications. One-piece handguard design. Access panel for assembly, disassembly, and maintenance. Compatible with most Mil-Spec AR-15 parts and most KeyMod mounted accessories. Available in shell deflector only or forward assist models. Package Contents: Vltor Vis Fusion, 10in Carbine Keymod, Deflector Only.
